I was very pleased (not to mention the SURPRISED) that this remote was actually compatible with my late 1990's fan (I had to climb onto a high step stool on the TOP of my kitchen island and a Taking pictures of model numbers of the fan that was hanging on my vaulted ceiling to get the model number and after the remote arrived and was working properly I deleted the photos so I don't remember exactly what model my fan was but the old remote was very similar on the outside if that helps at all) I had to fiddle with 4 little pins to make sure they were in the same position as in the old remote so don't give up until you try this!
