One size smaller, maybe even two sizes

This is the perfect sleeping bag for us. Our daughter is cold. Warm and cozy, yet light. It works great. I took my daughter a size up based on the size chart and oh my god if I was a little smaller I could fit. I sincerely think it will fit her for at least another year because it's so big. I just get the leg holes up to her knees and we make it work.
