Handsome commercial tumble dryer keeps catching on ignition wire

I have old single bag coin operated gas dryers in the laundry room. They were originally hot surface ignition converted to spark ignition. The heat from the burner burned the high voltage ignition wire every 4-6 months. I installed the ceramic spark plug leads instead of the normal high voltage leads that came with the rebuild kit and the problem was resolved. I know this wasn't the intended use of these wires, but the problem has definitely been solved!
