Overall, the bar stools appear to be made of rather flimsy material, which is to be expected given the price. At least it's easy to assemble and convenient enough. However, when I ordered one of the two stool legs arrived damaged, with rather ugly scratches on the otherwise nice metal leg (first photo). Instructions for ordering spare parts in the event of damage are enclosed with the orders. I followed the instructions and got a new base about a week later. But I would be very happy with that. The replacement base somehow scratches even worse than the one I was trying to replace. I don't have the time or energy to fill out endless parts request forms, so I give up. I'll just have an ugly scratched chair. Disappointing.
