I thought they would keep falling out to stop it due to the missing threaded end, but I've had fewer issues with them than traditional hinges. The metal feels solid and doesn't flex like the cheaper ones. I also didn't notice any skin sensitivity or itching like with the cheaper rings. I've also noticed that I no longer have that sebum smell that I had with other nose rings (you know the smell I'm talking about), which is a HUGE plus.
