Most likely you will need to change or replace the mounting screws.
I like the look of these pens and they are good quality. The reason I'm only giving it two stars is because of the screws that came with it. Because these knobs have an extended shank that engages the surface of the case, the screw length required is reduced by approximately 3/8 inch. As a result, the supplied screws were too long for a standard installation (either in a standard thickness door or in a drawer panel with a drawer attached). Each screw had to be cut off about a quarter of an inch to make it work.
