I bought this item to use with two of my laptops and it works very well. It looks better than the plastic cooling pads I was considering. The blue light doesn't reach far enough to see left or right of the computer, so it's not distracting. You can adjust the speed (and therefore noise) of the fans, and at max speed it still sounds quieter than my air purifier on low. The panel itself never gets hot even after a two-hour gaming session with my CPU at 70 degrees Celsius on my HP Omen 15 (2020). The 2 USB ports feature a pass-through connection that works even when the fans are off, so you don't have to sacrifice a USB port. I connected a DAC/amplifier to the second port and it works. The fans can also be switched on without a laptop. There's a nice click on the fan wheel to let you know it's off, but you can also just unplug the USB to turn it off and it'll start up automatically when you plug it back in. The tallest height gives plenty of room, and I like to rest the bottom edge of my laptop a bit on a removable stump that keeps the laptop from sliding down to allow more airflow between the laptop and the cooling pad. This item appears to be a rebrand of the Klim Bamboo Cooling Pad; You probably got it from the same manufacturer in China. Her photos don't show her Sumisky branding so I thought it would be clean but her name is in the lower right corner of the panel. This is great, but there are some improvements that can be made. I'd like three height levels instead of two: high, low, and none so the cooling pad can be laid flat on the table; It would be easier to fold and store. The legs can be styled the same as other cooling pads with this build, minus the wood. USB 2.0 ports, so flash drives are very slow. It's 2020; There is no reason why anything under 3.0 should exist. The USB ports aren't fully inserted either, so there's room for wiggling (although that doesn't affect performance). The blue light doesn't bother me, but I'm sure some people would like to turn it off without turning off the fans. The USB ports and fan wheel are not only on the back, but also under the cooling pad, making it a bit awkward to reach for. They could potentially move their next products to the left or right side of the pitch for easy access. The wheel is a bit stiff when turning and is more stiff than smooth. The legs have smooth foam tips so the pillow can still slide even if you press on it. It stays still during use, but it would be great if it was rubber.
