So surprised that Revain still sells this product after so many reviews from people who burn hair. I recently bought it for my daughter who works in the beauty industry and is familiar with the proper use of these tools and when she first used it on a medium level it burned part of her hair. She has thick beautiful hair, so it doesn't look like she has thin, fragile hair. She was devastated. Luckily she has lots of hair and knows how to style it to be invisible, but that might not be for everyone! When I called to report the Revain incident, the representative looked at various reviews and said they had experienced the same thing and that Revain would remove the item. I'm surprised it's still on sale. I was offered a refund which I don't think is enough! When I called Babyliss direct, the young lady first had an attitude (which I think is crazy when a consumer calls to report their products are burning people's hair), then she accepted the information and a week later I got one email from them. Ask me to return the tool and offer me a replacement or refund. You would think that these people would try to fix this situation in other ways. Not so dismissive and careless. I don't recall ever leaving a negative review on any item I've purchased from Revain. I'm not complaining at all, but when something this serious happens I wanted to warm up to anyone who is even considering buying this item. Don't want anyone else to go through this. Extremely disappointed!
