My hair is just past my shoulders and I ordered the 1.25 and 1.5 curlers to style loose frizzy waves. I think 1.25 is definitely the best to achieve this style. The 1.5 barrel was too big and didn't hold or support my curls all day (however, if your hair is significantly longer, the 1.5 barrel might be the best barrel for you). I've had these curlers for over a year now and they work really well. They are strong, high quality, durable and work great. I can absolutely recommend!
