Mila, I've never turned off the remote when using it but yesterday I didn't have a working remote. And since my Toshiba TV doesn't even have a volume or channel button, I desperately needed a remote control! So I found this one and got it the next day. All I did was put in the 2 AA batteries that came with the remote and started using it right away! Slightly fresh, comfortable and such a value!πππ
