Ordered this remote control as the original was lost when I moved house. It arrived within a few days and worked straight away without requiring a complete rewrite.

Arrived today. Works as advertised - didn't have to program it to recognize my 10 year old Toshiba flat screen. Nice inexpensive remote that does the job.

I unpacked it, looks exactly like the original remote control that came with the TV. The only difference was that AA was used instead of AAA. They even gave me batteries for free. The best part is that I pointed it at the TV and with not much more effort than you would expect with your index finger it worked perfectly! No programming, just couchsurfing. Well made and great price too!

Replaces the original remote control! When my original remote stopped working, I tried ordering a new one from the company. I was told they don't sell them and that I should get a universal remote. After five universal remotes, I still haven't found one that controls all of the TV's functions. Finally. Toshiba provided this technology and now I have one that can do everything the original did.

Mila, I've never turned off the remote when using it but yesterday I didn't have a working remote. And since my Toshiba TV doesn't even have a volume or channel button, I desperately needed a remote control! So I found this one and got it the next day. All I did was put in the 2 AA batteries that came with the remote and started using it right away! Slightly fresh, comfortable and such a value!👍👍👍

I'm having trouble getting it to work. Followed all instructions but to no avail. Can't work with my old remote as it doesn't work at all. I'll see if I can find someone to look at this. Pretty difficult with blocking due to virus. My TV works fine by hand. I just can't connect it to the international remote control. My old remote control that used to record the camera with the TV just broke. If I can get your remote to work I would be very happy.

I'm hesitating between 4 and 5 stars. It felt a little cheap when I opened it up, but it works great and is almost identical to the one I had. Yes, it seems lighter, but I don't know if it's just me or if it was actually made a little cheaper. Not giving it five stars when it looks and works exactly like the original seems petty. The price was about the same as some regular remote controls. So if I had to replace this remote again I would happily buy this model again.
