Wear these while I am shoveling or using a snow blower to clear snow in the winter. This is a task that often keeps me outside for up to 5 or 6 hours, since I have many friends and neighbors I take care of. The pants are very comfortable and warm. I normally wear 33W/30L pants. I bought the 34/30 size because, depending on the temperature, conditions and how long I might be outside . often wear a base layer. The pants have plenty of stretch, so I could wear a base layer of polypropylene or a pair of sweat pants. They fit well (with the provided belt) with no base layer. I like all of the pockets, though rarely use one or two. Am so pleased with them, I bought a second pair.
