The quality is no worse than the older model.

I bought the previous 2020 model for my newborn. I liked it and had no problems. The monitor got damaged last week so I had no choice but to order a new set. The charging input of the new model is different and the chord is much shorter than the previous model. Now, to my dismay, I have to drill a few more holes in the wall. This means that the camera has to be lowered and the image quality is not that good. Upgrading the electronics is fine, but this new update is actually a downgrade and I'm very disappointed.
