This small wax kit is ideal for beginners and DIY enthusiasts. A small heater heats up quickly and evenly, melting any wax pellets in minutes. The wax comes out smooth with no lumps. When using wax, it is not so hot that it burns the skin. Wax bags are enough for several small treatments, depending on the area you are epilating. They don't smell too bad, a very light scent, not at all unattractive. The included little metal bowls are very cute and the wooden sticks/stirring applicators are very handy. I've tried it on my legs and face and also on my husband's back. I've found that the finer the hair, the easier it is to remove. Small hairs on the outer corners of my upper lip and on my eyebrows as well as a few finer hairs on my husband's back were carefully removed. The hair on my legs is a little thicker because the hair itself is a little thicker than the fine hair on my face. Reading other reviews makes me think I need a different maybe stronger foot wax. I've also found that it's a lot easier to remove hair after a shower, so that's something I'm not good at. After depilation, applying pure coconut oil helped both remove residue and soothe the skin. In addition, I think this set is at a fair price. There was no price listed at the time of writing this review, but I would happily pay $20-$25 for this kit. This is a really nice set that has everything you need to make it in the comfort of your own home.
