This was mentioned by another reviewer but it wasn't entirely clear what the problems with this case were. While it fits, this case severely limits the range of motion of the screen - it becomes impossible to open the screen more than 90 degrees and the hinges are easily damaged; Two photos are included showing the problem - normal range of motion of the screen and limited maximum range of motion after turning on the case. Unfortunately, this makes it unusable for my purposes and for anyone who accidentally opens their laptop or needs their laptop. since it is open to a larger angle for comfort, it would be good to avoid this case as well. While you enjoy other cases in this style, it's a pity that now that the case for gen7 X1 is finally available, it's unusable.
