Synology DS220+ is a compact NAS designed to streamline data and media management. It provides seamless data sharing, video streaming, photo indexing, and comprehensive data protection and recovery features.
The NAS runs on a user-friendly operating system with an intuitive interface. At the heart of the technical part is an Intel Celeron J4025 processor running at 2.9 GHz, as well as 2 GB of RAM, which speeds up photo indexing, reduces database response time, and improves web PHP response efficiency. To create a file storage, 2 bays are provided that support 2.5 ”and 3.5” disks with a maximum capacity of 16 TB each.
The DS220+ is equipped with two 1GbE LAN ports to support network failover and Link Aggregation enabled, and delivers over 225MB/s sequential read and 192MB/s sequential write throughput. Data can be further protected with RAID 1 drive mirroring to prevent sudden drive failures.
Compared to other systems, Synology DS220+ consumes less power - 14.96W when accessing and 4.41W when hibernating hard drives.
