They tend to explode when they swell.
I like these water balloons, they are very funny. However, these larger ones almost never retain their round shape. Most of them looked like kidneys when they swelled, and more than half of them just fell apart as they expanded. I stick with the little ones as I progress, bigger isn't always better.
