Leaking hoses are good for rough plumbing

The hoses that came with this thing leak like a strainer. The product seemed amazing until I had to flush the water heater.

Great product for water heater and parts

I liked how easy this product was to use. The directions were accurate and easy to follow. I was done in about an hour and my water heater now heats up faster. I probably should have used this much sooner.

Loved it - rough install

easy to use and nicely packaged. Highly recommended, useless, you have very little mechanical flair. I've been a master plumber for over 40 years and I've always wondered what to do with my hands. Rule #1 Before starting any repair, MAKE SURE THE MAIN WATER IS LOCKED OUT

An excellent kit for performing a preventive flush of tankless water heaters.

The fact that you get everything you need to complete the flushing process is great. I've had absolutely no problems connecting and using the included pump, no leaks or other issues. I recommend this kit to all new water heater owners.

Worked great for water heater and parts

I am a young 79 year old grandmother and made it myself, easy to use, instructions are easy to follow. I had 2 problems. Keep the red hose in the bucket as the pressure was so great it was blown out of the bucket. Second, I couldn't lift a full bucket after rinsing, so I attached a longer hose to run it to the sink. After I fixed these two issues, everything went very well.

The device is defective

The descaling agent did little, only discolored the bucket, made the water from the blue bucket blue. The supplied descaler bottle was opened. It took forever to get out of the hot water tank. The hoses are defective and they didn't send me a replacement. I had to buy some new pump hoses and the pump was still leaking and squirting all over the place. It's easier to buy your own bucket, some vinegar, and a pump. This is a product joke. Not a good buy

The kit includes a decent quality pump and a bucket bottom grid to keep the pump opening clean.

The plastic floor grid has a piece broken off but is still suitable for this purpose. This may have been caused by careless handling during shipping. Not enough problem to report a loss and wait for a replacement. The product did its job well and was completed. There was no need to search for additional material. All components are placed back into the bucket, and the bucket has a lid so everything can be stored together until next time.

bad experience with rough plumbing

I had some problems with my Chromex flushing kit. 1) The instructions say to add 1 gallon of water concentrate to the bucket and place the pump on the grate in the bucket. The problem was that there wasn't enough liquid above the grate to run the pump. I had to remove the grate and put the pump on the bottom of the bucket. 2) After turning on the pump, a cleaning solution began to spray in multiple directions through multiple holes in the hose. Works best for heavy plumbing

I chose this product because I liked the pump grate, pump, washing machine hoses, bucket and instructions. When it arrived on Saturday it was in good condition and complete. I waited until Monday to come to work. Following the instructions, setup was quick and easy. My instantaneous water heater is in the attic and as soon as I started the pump it worked perfectly. I went to the attic and made sure the return hose was in the bucket, which it did. The instructions say to run it for 30-45 minutes
