Excellent camcorder for radio models

For the money, this tiny camcorder is a steal! There are so many functions packed into its small body that I'm frankly blown away. I only bought this camera to experiment with capturing video from a moving radio control (R/C) model. I've shot a few videos so far and the quality is definitely acceptable at 10 fps. However, the sound quality is quite harsh. But adding music to the sound reduces the harshness. As the famous saying goes, this camcorder will lick and keep ticking. Attached to my RC cars, this thing has been punched, scratched, its lens hood knocked off, jiggled while jumping, splashed with water and various other abuses while flipping at 30 mph! It never failed. It still works great! If you're considering using this camcorder in RC models for the same reasons, here's a little tip I found: the camera turns off when the LCD screen is closed. It has a plunger attached to the LCD door. By cutting off the bulb, you can close the LCD door and continue recording video. The camera offers several ways to download. I rated the camcorder 5 stars. Not so much because of the quality of the video, but because of its use in the application I need. Radio controlled simulation video. It's perfect for that! It's about the size of a pack of Camel cigarettes and weighs next to nothing. For under $100 you can't go wrong!
