I wanted to love this camera because it's so expensive, but you know you're buying a $150 camera for $350 because these guys pay RV companies to install their pre-installed kits wiring by the thousands of RVs that never drive out installing a Voyager camera. The ease of installation makes up for some of the wasted money in the purchase price. Now for the service. The screen resolution is quite low. Think back to the quality of a Sony viewfinder in the early 2000s. The contrast is really bad. When you see shadows or highlights, it can be difficult to make out what you're seeing. There are also problems with night vision. This is partly due to the low resolution, but also partly to the lack of any kind of anti-reflective coating or sun protection. It won't work as a rearview mirror if you set it up the way it's supposed to. This is literally a product designed to help truck drivers get their trailers into the loading bay. Anyone that appears behind you on your screen is chasing you. I rarely see other vehicles on screen while driving, unless we stop at a traffic light. The included scales are pretty much useless. No matter how I tilted the camera, I couldn't get the numbered dial to work, so you ended up just using an empty dial. It would be amazing to see what they could produce if they actually spent that $350 to build a premium camera. In summary, if you're pre-configured for Voyager, I'd consider installing a different one. The comfort is amazing. It was literally a 5 minute install. If you're not in the Voyager mood, I'd try many other half-price options. I don't think you're missing out on quality, just don't subsidize all the prewiring. One of the main reasons for the 2 star rating is that the mount they send you is rubbish. It stayed stuck to our window for literally 5 minutes before falling off and being unable to reattach. Only the suction cup is of very poor quality. They offer you no other way. I ended up using double sided tape to stick the suction cup to the window, but it doesn't come off when you don't use the pendant. One tip is that the instruction manual may seem inaccurate. At least for the Winnebago Micro Minnie pendants, the power doesn't come from the 12v that's always hot on your 7-way sting, it actually comes from your running lights. This has the benefit of being able to turn the camera on and off by toggling the headlights on and off instead of plugging in the Stinger. In fact, I spent about 5 minutes trying to pair the camera with the receiver by putting the receiver in pairing mode to no avail. and connect the tip according to the instructions.
