I used a flow restrictor from my Delta shower head because I live in the desert and am near a well. I installed it and I love it. My Delta faucet was a mix of metal and plastic or rubber that was clogged and damaged. I love the rain created by this oversized shower. Restricting the water flow did not affect the use of this shower head in any way. I bought a 15" shower arm to free up space in my shower for the water to fall right over my head. That's great. I watched a YouTube video and the installation was easy and error free. The finish was perfect with the rest of the elements. Venetian bronze sanitary ware in my bathroom. The shower is better than ever. It was a wonderful answer to my disappointments in my soul.
