Great product, but it has no locking mechanism. You have to be really careful about where and how you sit on it. Also, it really has to be on a flat surface. I don't think it would work too well at the beach, the park or camping, for that reason, but I suppose you could try and figure out how to make it stable in those settings. Purchase the chairs for when we go to my daughters dance competitions and sometimes in the changing rooms there’s no chairs. Being a plus size girl that’s over 200lbs was very skeptical about the chairs but seeing that they hold up to 300 pounds was very comforting. I’m able to sit on the chair with confidence while playing my daughters make up or doing her hair. Definitely can see you purchasing them in the future when need it.

I like that the portable stool is easy to carry and sturdy. Two stools come in package. Good for travel, will always have a seat when needed. It easily held weight of 200 lbs. item states it holds up to 300lbs. I recommend this product for people who can't stand long periods of time.

I got this stool so that I can visit clients in their homes. Even before the pandemic, I wasn't too fond of sitting on their furniture, and now I am concerned about COVID-19, so I want to know the cleanliness history of what I am sitting on. It is also easy to clean, so that the next client doesn't have to worry about what I am bringing into their house. It is lightweight and easy to transport while carrying my other belongings. The stool comes in very handy for taking to the sidelines of athletic events or to outdoor concerts. Because there is no back it wouldn't be so comfortable for long term sitting.

These are good stools. Durable, well put together, and compact. The only gripe I have with one of mine is that the seat has a raised bump on it that is a little sharp. I'm not sure how the seat is made, but its a durable plastic. I'm guessing the raised bump occurred during the manufacturing process of the seat. I plan to file or sand it down to smooth it out. The other stool I received was defect-free.

We bought a pair of these to use when going to the park to play pickleball as the city does not allow us to use the public benches due to C-19. These are light weight to carry from the car to the court. They open easily and are solid - no rocking or wobbling. They fold up just by picking them up, no tricks needed to close them.
