IT WORKS! Hooray! in Tools & Equipment

I had a lot of scratches on my '99 Saturn because the previous owner didn't replace the wipers. When the window was dry it was just annoying. However, in rain, fog, sleet or similar weather, this became not only annoying but also dangerous. I've been searching and searching for something to take care of. And to be honest I haven't looked into replacing windshields as it's quite expensive. I was looking for something that would solve this problem. I finally found information about "glass polishing" and "cerium oxide" on google. From there, all I had to do was find the best price I could find. Although some of the scratches couldn't be removed due to the depth of the scratch, the view from my windshield is MUCH better. It got to the point where I now notice scratches on the glass of the PASSENGER. If you are SUPER crazy about clean windows, you can even use this product to super clean them. The difference is really striking. I would recommend that you read the "sparse" instructions carefully. Then watch some YouTube videos on how to use this material. This will help you a lot and give you some useful tips on how not to damage your windshield. (Yes, it is possible.) Also, try to either pick a sunny day or do the work in a VERY well-lit area. Finally, be patient and expect to spend HOURS doing the work. When you consider the cost of a new windshield, you're way ahead of the curve. Unless you're a lawyer or some other ridiculously well-paid person. Good luck and happy polishing!
