I bought one of these earlier to use on my surround sound receiver as it takes up quite a bit of space. I noticed that the device gets very hot after use. After installing this on top of the receiver it didn't have a chance to heat up again. So I decided to take care of my laptop as it gets pretty hot too after a little use. The product works very quietly, I had to see if it worked. It does well what it was created for.

looks very cool with blue light in the distance BUT the fans are so LOUD wow! It's hard to concentrate on gaming even when I've turned it down to the lowest volume I have to mute it - a bit sad I've been waiting for delivery for almost a month and it's not exactly a cooling pad. I've had several laptop coolers and this one handles the airflow well when all the fans are running at high speed. The combination of 2 large fans and 3 smaller ones really moves the air. However, the smaller fans make a somewhat annoying screeching. It has an annoying frequency to my ears and I have to use headphones when turning on the 3 smaller fans. After almost a week of use I'm not satisfied, I shouldn't even return it and make a 3 year guarantee. My biggest problem is that the USB connectors you use for power are loose. I bought this to give my laptop extra cooling and to put it higher up so I can reach the keys more easily. It worked fine for a few months. Note that the design is VERY crappy, to say the least. My previous version wasn't as robust, but this more advanced current purchase is much more stable, especially with the 5 fans included. Update 6/10: After constantly wasting time chatting and emailing support, I was informed that they are going out of product stock this year (poor Management) completely missed because they knew the current situation. They were rude and refused to provide upgrade, downgrade or refund. The product worked less than a month after purchase, from February 2020 to June 2020.
