I've been fighting small algae and red cyanobacteria for a long time. I tried using a green phosphate pad and charcoal but that didn't allow for enough flow with my setup. This stuff cleared him of 0 phosphate in about 2 days. It was 0.25 to 0.5, which is low but still too high for a reef tank. Worse still, I was changing gear every week, which took time and money. It takes almost no time, and if I change it once a month, it will be much cheaper.
