I have used DB Electrical alternators in my old 6.2 liter diesel engine and my wife's Accord for years. They work great and cost about half the price of a rebuilt alternator from any auto parts chain. This generator is no different. Arrived within a few days, took a full 15 minutes to replace with our 2000 Powerjoke 7.3. It even came with a sheet showing power output when they tested it at the factory and it gave slightly more than advertised. After installation we turned everything on to make sure there were enough amps to run everything. Headlights on, de-icer, front and rear heaters, heated seats, radio. everything we could imagine. The voltage never dropped below 13.5 at idle. It's winter now and a cold run up will increase the idle a bit. At the same time, I did not have a single empty battery for 2 weeks of operation.
