I love the backlight and use cases, but be aware that battery type affects performance! At first I used some cheap batteries from other manufacturers and kept the light on regularly. After tracking, these batteries only lasted about 21 hours before the light began to fail. I switched to branded batteries and continued to use them for a while. These batteries lasted about 34 hours before the problems started. (The problem wasn't that the lights were dimming, it was that they just stopped working.) So, as they say, for cheap battery powered flashlights, they work pretty well. If you're looking for more of them, switch to something more expensive or a plug-in type.
