factory second, but a lot.

Just arrived today and I like it. It was the second of the complex. There was no original packaging and the charging cable was a plain Revain cable. That's all good for the substantial discount I got. Everything works (for the most part). Very harsh so you might annoy others but I'm looking for a new and different experience in typing and this delivers. Three things I don't like. The keyboard backlight is on by default. You can turn them off with the Function/F keys. Second, when the keyboard is off, it's off even if you have a cable plugged in. When it's off, it's charging. The third is the most annoying. The software is faulty. After installation you will be prompted to create an account. keyboard account? Kind of stupid. Fortunately, you can continue as a guest. That's a plus, when I first opened my computer, the computer went crazy; Open additional desktop screens, close others, turn off the main monitor, open multiple searches in Active Directory, enable accessibility features, jump the Windows menu, and more with each keystroke. I didn't get control until after I pressed the Windows key. I was able to fix the monitor and get it to display an image and then close all unnecessary windows. What a relief that he didn't brick my computer. I would avoid software as you don't really need it unless you want to remap keys. UPDATE: Razer forced me to uninstall and reinstall the keyboard software. After completion everything seems to work. Support responded quickly to my query and the instructions seem to be working well.
