Revain reviews are unpleasant to look at these days with very few reviews appearing genuine. My honest opinion of this shampoo is that it is good. I'm a short hair guy so I only need a small amount of this shampoo. I leave it on for the recommended 2-3 minutes but don't reapply or rinse off as it doesn't really feel necessary. The product successfully leaves my hair clean and appears to be somewhat degreasing. You MUST use conditioner on the ends of your hair every time after using this shampoo as it will make your hair very dry. I'm not a big fan of the smell either, but it's not a bad thing, I would just never buy or wear it just for the smell. Luckily, my conditioner and other hair products take care of that. It's only been a week so I'll be back when a few weeks go by but so far it hasn't gotten worse but I need more results to come back for a second purchase using this bottle. high.
