I recently went to change my bike pedals and found that whoever installed them didn't use any lubricant. I tried removing the pedals with the car keys I had on hand, but because the pedals were binding I couldn't get them enough traction due to the distance. Eventually I gave in and ordered this one hoping it would work. The key is well made, no defects. The handle is long enough to provide good leverage. The rubberized grip surface makes it easier to hold. Also, the handle is slightly bent at the wrong angle. This small change allows the wrench to have enough clearance from the frame and parts to rotate without making contact or locking up rotation. With notches on both sides in different directions, it makes moving from the right pedal to the left a breeze. It also helps if you need to change the angle a bit. It doesn't matter, this key does exactly what it was designed to do. Ironically, I'm glad my pedals got stuck, forcing me to pick up this instrument. Dedicated bike tools really make life easier. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tool to anyone with a bike!
