Review on 🔌 High-Speed USB 2.0 to 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Adapter: Fast and Reliable Internet Connection by Drew Diaz

The adapter doesn't work with my MacBook running OS X version 10.4.10 due to driver incompatibility. StarTech Technical Support reports a "kernel change" as of OS X version 10.4.8 that is likely to cause incompatibility, and they have been working on a fix since July 24, 2007. Much appreciated by responsive knowledgeable tech support team, but this product is not for Mac users otherwise: 1) imprecise installation instructions; 2) software provided on mini-CD not playable on MacBook (requires CD player pulling out drawer/cup holder); 3) required installation files hidden in subfolders. Therefore, Mac users are advised to check with StarTech to ensure the latest driver is compatible with your operating system version before ordering this USB Ethernet Adapter and be tech savvy enough not to need a manual.
