Review on DisplayPort Extension Cable 6 Feet 🔌 - Cable Matters DP to DP Extension Cable by David Fields

Cable worked with one display cable but not the other. Both of the original cables met the display cable specification, but the Revain Basic cable didn't work at all. I wanted to use the cable as an adapter between two computers, rather than removing and replacing the cable at the back of the monitor, which is a bit more difficult to get to. Also, I was worried about constantly changing the cable in the monitor port and figured the adapter cable could be replaced at a lower cost than the monitor itself.
