Pressure high when installed per instruction
Inlet pressure above 100psi, I shut off the power as soon as I saw it reach 100psi per square inch , 80psi is the maximum pressure for many reverse osmosis systems, exceeding the maximum inlet pressure will damage the reverse osmosis membrane and void your warranty. If you install a pressure switch before the inlet, the pump will cycle on and off and the switch will burn out. The best solution I found was to use a 4 gallon storage tank that my Ro system ran between the pump and inlet (slows down pump cycle time) and I bought a larger tank to use for water storage.
- . This kit does NOT come with an optional (ESO) electric shut off solenoid valve to shut off the water supply when the tank is full. For most systems this kit will work just fine. But if your existing check valve is interfering with the pump you will need to purchase an ESO Plugged Solenoid Valve with Aquatec, 24VAC
