This strap gets the job done but is poorly designed. I have 2 Samsonite f'lite suitcases with hard sides that have the ability to attach to each other when rolled up. I bought this Samsonite with a bag strap and it worked but not very well. First off, this strap works best for bags that have a top carry handle in addition to the telescoping handle. Second, this strap has a fixed position of the female ends and adjustable length straps that connect to the male ends. Due to the design of the bag and most suitcases, the belt buckles end under the handles instead of on top of the handles. And since Samsonite f'lite cases do not have an additional top handle, the strap must be connected to the crossbar with the telescopic handle folded up. This causes the pouch to pull back and forth when you change the direction of the first pouch. It's not a perfect solution, but it gets the job done. If the strap was one big loop instead of two loops sewn together in the middle, the job would be a lot easier.
