Loud and not cooling

The fan is very loud. I could probably live with that, but the pace hasn't slowed down. I put a USB 1200 fan under the router and the temperature dropped 10 degrees. I removed this product from my outer case and the temperature dropped another 5 degrees thanks to the 120mm fan.
