
The needles are very thin and require care when cleaning and especially when dipping into meat. Make sure there is no bone or gristle on the handle before squeezing it. What I don't like the most is that the handle is hollow and after cleaning it can collect water and soap inside. You need to shake it out and wet it with soapy water before softening it again. I wouldn't put the lid on until the tenderizer is completely dry.
