Timer not working. If you need a working product but have questions, read no further. See below. I read the reviews so I knew there were two outlets, one timed and one permanent, which were perfect for my purposes. I connect the filter pump to the one that is always on and the light to the outlet with a timer. Worked fine for a week or two and now the timer doesn't work. Sometimes the light comes on when the shutters are down and sometimes it comes on when the shutters are up, but many times I come into the building in the morning and the light is off by the time it's supposed to be on and doesn't work all day. unless I go and flip all the tabs. I did this every day for a week until I finally gave up. THIS IS A CHEAP PRODUCT THAT DOESN'T WORK. There were several cases where the timer didn't turn on the light for more than 24 hours. We usually leave the building on the weekends and the lack of light for the whole weekend has caused some algae issues which I am currently struggling with which is not good for the fish. I suggest spending a few extra dollars to get another reliable timed outlet. Lowered to one because I didn't buy for it. I have some extension cords and if I needed extra outlets I wouldn't pay $12 for an extra outlet that DOESN'T WORK.
