We have six house cats who love to sleep on the bed, sofa and chairs. Therefore, a pet hair removal brush is a must. Sticky brushes grab hair quickly, but they also clog quickly. Finally, they are difficult to manage. However, this brush set is a big improvement. This set contains two brushes: a full size brush for working at home and a half size brush for on the go. They basically work the same. You take the brush out of the holder, wipe over the item you want to remove hair from and place the brush back in the holder, which will remove the hair the next time you pull out of the brush. When used properly, the brush does an excellent job of removing pet hair. However, it needs to be brushed in the right direction or it won't work. The large brush has an arrow on the handle that shows which direction to brush. Oddly enough, there is no such arrow on a small brush, so you will have to use trial and error to determine the right direction with it. Also note that the large brush protrudes completely from the holder. Small brush - no. If you remove the end cap you can pull the small brush all the way out of the holder from the bottom, but I'm pretty sure it's not meant to be used. Both holders have a removable bottom cover so hair can be pulled out if necessary. These brushes are designed for repeated use. These are really handy brushes, especially if you have pets. The small brush is perfect for traveling, small enough to easily fit in your purse or pocket. The set is cheap and a bargain.
