idk if there is another one in a different color but after looking at the nose hair trimmer in black thought the ear hair trimmer would be on the time to take a look With a new ear/nose hair trimmer, I figured 10 years was long enough for the one I have and wondered if the blades in it were dull. So the purchase of this product for several reasons. The one it replaces is the Wahl nose and ear trimmer which is about the same size and also uses 1 AA battery. I paid 10€ for it in the store. I accidentally bought a new one for about 6 months, maybe longer, both online and in retail. And call me crazy, but I think paying over $20 for a nose and ear trimmer is crazy. So I received this trimmer yesterday and was a bit surprised at how nicely and professionally packaged it was for 9.99 it was something you would hang around. on a hook or on a shelf in a retail store. So it was a nice little surprise, it came with a little booklet and a cleaning brush. It's compact and also has a tinted protective cap that fits securely over it to protect the cutter head which my choice didn't include lol that was another nice bonus. Feel like a cheap trimmer, the battery cover pops off easily and latches securely when closed. The on/off switch slides easily and feels secure when flicked to the on or off position. The trimmer head works great, it sounded alive when it was first turned on, it seemed to spin slower and maybe not as much volume compared to my choice so I lined them up and threw in a brand new battery. same brand and size in whale and my thought was correct. the sound of the humming waves was faster than that. but that's not the point, i forgot to mention another reason i bought a new trimmer, the blade seemed to get stuck since i bought it and it also required frequent cleaning of both the blade assembly and the guard (the trimmer head was non-removable and consisted of 2 parts: the cutting blade assembly and the guard guard, and to clean the blade and guard, although this did not take much time, this had to be done often (at least once during each trimming session, e.g. between trimming the nose and ears...this little fella, although despite initial concerns about it spinning at a lower RPM, on first use no posed a big problem as it didn't get stuck or whatever - anything else and a slow average steady flow of water so I opened the W water tap just enough to get full flow of water but not full flow or anything and held the trimmer head in the water flow for a short time and then I snapped slightly off the trimmer head taught. the countertop and was surprised at how well he cleaned it and then repeated the awards a second time and then cropped the ears. for only $10 (technically quoted 9.99) I am very happy with this nose and ear trimmer and if you are looking for a quality trimmer in a larger size for travel and at a very reasonable price. Look no further. I'll add that I'll revise my review if necessary if it crashes prematurely etc. I guess I don't need to worry about that.
