Review on HIFROM Replacement Ignition Coil Module for Honda GCV135 GCV160 GCV190 GSV160 - Compatible & New by Robert Sample

I bought this ignition coil module for my 30 year old Honda HR214 mower. I installed the module and the mower started working. The module has a metal connector/tab that is probably about 2/3 the size of the original connector/tab. I inserted the tab into the socket on the mower (which allowed the mower to start), but as the tab was smaller than the original one, it detached and fell out before completing a pass across my yard. I took the mower apart to reattach the tongue, which required a small amount of solder to hold it in place, but one of the screws holding the module in place broke. It really annoys me that the Chinese manufacturer of this part decided to save $0.0001 per unit by skimping on the size of the metal tongue. I would not recommend this product as a genuine OEM unit.
