I bought these specifically for gardening and they work well. They are easy to insert and remove, they are easy to remove and clean. They have enough texture on the bottom to keep you from slipping, and the vents and open back keep you from sweating on the inside. You can even clean them on the top shelf in the dishwasher. They're not great for heavy gardening (e.g. using a shovel or digging post holes) as they're soft unlike heavy boots, but they're great for occasional watering and weeding.
