This plate ended up working as it should to install a standard no box cutout fairing fastener, but that was a problem. The inside is completely hollow, so the surface of the panel deviates towards the building wall. Needed some support behind the panel to keep it flat. Also, be prepared to spend some time looking for longer jig mounting screws. The thickness of the mounting plate made the originals 3/16 inch too short. After some tweaking it worked, but I never managed to get the mounting plate surface completely flat. I had to use silicone to seal the gaps at the base of the attachment side.
