Cheap networking products

I have two of these. At $25 each, they're worth their money. IMO you should install DD-WRT; with production firmware is exclusively 2-star routers. Pros: Inexpensive Fast compatibility with Dd-wrt Cons: Wireless signal drops 1 time per minute. The instructions for flashing Mfr are very minimal. solved the problem of temporary disconnection - now it's a real permanent connection. However, only half of my devices can connect to the dd-wrt network. iOS devices and Windows PCs are fine, but MacBook Pro and Kindle don't even see the DD-WRT router. Not sure what's going on yet. UPDATE: MBPs want DD-WRT wireless security mode set to TKIP + AES, not just AES. UPDATE: May 2014 I just upgraded to a faster router. At the time of shutdown, the RT-N10+ had been running DD-WRT continuously for 255 days. The only downside was that the http server for the DD-WRT-GUI failed and had to be restarted once via telnet.

  • Great for me
Cons
