Lid and side panels look and fit well. I have found that Extremerate Xbox Series X controller aftermarket products are of higher quality than Xbox One products. I think it has to do with the thickness of the plastic and the stronger side clips.

Colour, texture and durability appear to be consistent with other eXtremeRates products but there are some form issues with this product. The option button and D-pad holes were too small for their buttons. Not sure if this applies to the OEM buttons, but the ER buttons stuck in the shell when everything was assembled. I had to manually shave the holes with a razor to get proper functionality. After this quick fix was implemented, I had no more problems.

I had to shave off the inside a bit to allow the bezel to fit over the buttons and other part. Basically the shape isn't perfect, I'm sure I only got one bad one, I'm not sure if they are all like that. Keep in mind that I ordered one for my Xbox Series X controller and my Elite Series 2 controller and the X Series controller is the only one that gave me problems. I'm not a sweaty gamer and my hands never get dirty while gaming. I noticed that after about a week of playing, the color became distorted and turned slightly brown to light purple.
