- 1. EXCELLENT HANDLING AND BRAKING. Icy asphalt, rolled snow, snow porridge, puddles - excellent. There have never been episodes of aquaplaning, driving 100 on a wet road is quite acceptable. 2. WEAR RESISTANCE. I'm rolling the second set of these tires, the first set was on the previous car. Then I ran into them for four seasons and a total of about 50,000 km. During this time, 13.37% of the studs were lost (calculated), and the tread wear was near zero. This means that for 5-6 seasons they will definitely be enough. 3. PASSABILITY. By the manufacturer, these tires are positioned as winter off-road tires, which is evidenced by the presence of side lugs and an aggressive tread pattern. Indeed, the previous car was a compact front-wheel drive sedan with a ground clearance of 155 mm and a power of 115 forces. And even on it I never got stuck in 4 seasons, although I went every day. Including I never got stuck in February 2022, when some kind of heavy rainfall fell sharply in Hong Kong and snowdrifts on the streets and in the yards disappeared only when it got warmer. Now the car is different: diesel, all-wheel drive and with 400 N * m. Accordingly, there were no problems with cross-country ability. 4. THOUGHT. Here we are talking about just one chip: these tires have special "influxes" that protect the disc from curbs. I am a fan of parking close to the curb, and this is important for me: on Continental summer tires, for example, there are no such influxes, and there is already wear on the rear right disk. And here it is not a threat. 5. PRICE. No worse than the top Nokian and Michelin, but a little cheaper. The balance between price and quality is perfect.
- At the moment I can say that these tires have no cons. But I want to make a reservation: the previous set was 205*55*16 made in Poland and it was quite noisy. And now 225 * 60 * 17 of German production and it is much quieter. At temperatures above zero, it slows down a little waddedly, but not critically.
