These compression knee pads are well made and look good. Used them twice on off-road touring. The first time, the tops work their way down and gather just above the kneecap area. I pulled them up to no avail. So towards the end of the trip I took them off. The second time I rolled the top elastics down a few times until they stopped slipping on the first ride. It worked but was narrower at the top. The slide down makes sense to me because as you walk, the flexion of the femoral quadriceps and hamstrings pushes the sleeve down toward the kneecap. If these knee pads were shortened by about 2 or 3 inches at the top where the elastic is just above the knee pad, the slippage problem would be eliminated. Not sure if other people had the same problem? Will keep using them.
