Review on πŸ”Š Bose SoundLink Mini II Limited Edition Wireless Bluetooth Speaker by Jennifer Clark

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Outstanding sound reproduction!

This little speaker is amazing! Not a rich man but wealthy, the prize came from my "treated" treasury. I first heard about Bose speakers in the early 70's at a friend's house when he was looking around trying to figure out where his tunes were coming from when he pointed to two shelves with little boxes on them. From what I remember they were no bigger than a small cereal box that you could cut open and use as a bowl. I think it had a bass or woofer on the floor but the thing is, it sounded amazing! Fast forward to February of this year and I bought this amazing speaker! I have a couple of small Bluetooth speakers in the $30 range, but we're comparing watermelons to cherries here. The video is shot with a very inexpensive microphone in the $30 range, which you will see. But look at the spectral analysis of what a microphone is. input. Each division represents 250 hertz (cycles per second for some of us older gentlemen! lol). So on the left you see in the first "square" from zero to 250 hertz, the next division on the right is from 250 to 500 hertz. The average C on a piano is about "A" 440 hertz, so in this or the next "square". The "square" or division (sorry I switched between division and square!) on the far right indicates frequencies between 2250 Hz and 2500 Hz in overtones. I hope that makes sense. This is a visual music breakdown showing the frequencies coming out of a Bose speaker through a very inexpensive microphone. If you play the video, you will hear it too. Yes, I will recommend this column to my friends!
