Review on πŸ’ͺ TEKTON 30709 Dead Hammer 48 Ounce: Unleash Superior Force for Powerful Impact by Rob Bishop

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really nice set of jackhammers

I've seen jackhammers start and end their careers on the same day. I think some people just can't handle the forces that are thrown at them. The main problem they face is the internal steel components breaking through the plastic mold. I know people who use them for a year or more in demanding applications where they have a habit of replacing them every few months. When using "budget" jackhammers (or "budget" tools in general) they agree that the quality, fit, finish and hand feel are abysmal, not to mention their durability. However, I think TEKTON put their feces together because every tool I bought with the TEKTON name was of the highest quality and catered to the worker's budget. Lo and behold, THREE really good $28 hammers won't break the bank. Even if you REALLY have to replace them a few times a year!

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight
