Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Wii Charge Station by Nyko by Matt Conner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The previous one lasted 8 years, this one seems just as good

This is our second order of this station. The first lasted about 8 years. Our use of the Wii has ebbed and flowed as our son has grown, but I would say the first system worked well and the remotes were constantly on the station. I know they say to extend battery life you need to fully charge and unplug it, but we're too lazy and it's easier with a kid to tell them to always leave the remotes there and not everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. In fact, the station never failed, but the batteries began to act strangely. They showed full charge, then showed no charge, then randomly showed everything in between. The charge level seemed to change every few seconds. But they will still last a few hours of gameplay. We eventually replaced it when it started reporting such a low state that the game stopped and prompted you to charge it soon. Getting interruptions has increased from about every 10 minutes to about every minute. When looking for battery-only packs, this station and battery combo was just as convenient and seemed like a better idea if the contact points changed a bit. The new station worked brilliantly throughout the holiday season as many visitors came and played the new games. . No issues with batteries coming into contact with the station, no surprises when you pick up the remote from the station and it won't charge, none of them ran out of juice while playing. I don't know how long the batteries will last, but it's been used quite heavily over the last few weeks and has never been anywhere near dead.
