These cases are nicely made and finished. Upon initial inspection, I was impressed with how well the wheels and axle posts are engineered and constructed. As other reviewers mention, these cases roll wonderfully smooth, even well loaded. We took the large and medium-sized pieces and they held up great. Fully packed the large one weighed in at 47 lbs, the other was around 38lbs. Our trip consisted of six flights, multiple train and shuttle transfers, and several long walks through airports, train stations, and city streets. Besides a normal scuff here and there, the most significant damage incurred was a pushed-in corner on the larger case. (I was able to press it back out after heating up with a hairdryer). All wheel assemblies are intact and roll as good as new. We could not be more pleased with the durability of this set.
